We are delighted to announce our prolific academy striker Dawid Gawel has been nominated for the LFE Goal of the Month for November, for his stunning overhead kick in the derby win over Watford.

With the ball lofted into the box from a free kick close to the touchline, Alvin Isufi leaped highest to nod the ball across the area to set up a piece of stunning improvisation from Gawel to finish expertly past the Hornets goalkeeper.

With the striker’s goal tally currently sitting at an impressive 28 for the Under-18s, this nomination only adds to an already impressive season for the young forward as the Hatters look to continue their impressive form in both the EFL Youth Alliance and the PDL.
