Luton Town begin the eight-game sprint to the end of the Sky Bet Championship season with a visit to Hull City at MKM Stadium (Saturday, 12.30pm UK).
Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters sit four points from safety with eight fixtures still to play following the conclusion of the international break.
Rubén Sellés’ Tigers have gradually steered themselves away from danger, with just one defeat in their last seven games putting them three points above the relegation zone.

The opposition
Hull have steadied their ship since they appointed Sellés in December, with a late comeback to share the points with Leeds United being the catalyst for a positive run of form.
Back-to-back away wins at Millwall and Sheffield United helped boost the points tally and confidence, leading to their current run of one lose in their previous seven.
The hosts will be welcoming back Columbian midfielder Gustavo Puerta (pictured) from suspension. The Bayer Leverkusen loanee scored in Hull’s win against Oxford United before receiving two yellow cards.
João Pedro is the Tigers’ top scorer with six goals in the Championship – he won’t feature as he continues to serve a three-match ban after his straight red card at Bristol City.
Last time we met
Luton held out to secure a clean sheet and three points when Hull visited Kenilworth Road back in November.
Mark McGuinness returned from making his first international cap for the Republic of Ireland to score his first goal for the Hatters during the first half.
Our last visit to Hull
Two first half goals from the Town guided us to three points when we last visited the MKM Stadium in September 2022.
The hosts relieved Head Coach Shota Arveladze of his duties prior to kick-off as Henri Lansbury’s rocket was the highlight of an impressive away win for Luton.
Officials
The referee for our fixture against Hull will be Darren Bond.
81 yellow cards and three red cards have been handed out by Bond across his 21 games this season.
12 of Bond’s 21 games this season have been Premier League fixtures.
Bond last officiated a Luton fixture when we visited Burnley back in August 2022.
Referee: Darren Bond
Assistant Referees: Matthew Wilkes & Derek Eaton
