Premier League Kicks, funded by the Premier League through the Premier League Foundation, uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential, in some of the most high-need areas in England and Wales.
In December 2025, Bedfordshire’s Premier League Kicks community came together to participate in the Winter Cup. As well as teams from our Luton, Bedford and Central Bedfordshire sites, we welcomed grass-roots teams from Luton’s South Asian community and from further afield, South London.
Included in a full day of tournament football were workshops about youth rights on stop and search delivered by colleagues from Bedfordshire Police and the Violence and Exploitation Prevention Partnership, a Q&A on Academy life with our scholars and a building resilience session from our Premier League Kicks Youth Worker.
A visit from Men’s First Team players Izzy Jones and Jake Richards stole the show.
Both Izzy and Jake took to the pitch to referee the final and runners up games and ensured all participants left buzzing from the opportunity to meet their heroes.
Shout out to HP All Stars who were worthy winners on the day, Luton United for second place and for Community Trust coaching staff and youth worker for making the day run as smooth as possible.
